Option 1: Download and then run
the installer. This is the quickest and easiest option.

For Excel 97 & 2000.

Option 2: Download
the setup program saved in a ZIP file, and then run setup from your computer.

Click Download above B.
Depending on your browser, you’ll get a message like this:

You can either run the file or
save it. If you save it, you’ll have a local copy of the installer. D.
When saving, you’ll be asked
for a location for the .exe file. You can save it anywhere, though we
recommend something like C:\Temp\ E.
You’ll see a downloading
progress dialog like this:

Then, you’ll see a prompt that
includes a Run button. Press Run. Option 2: Download
the setup program file within a ZIP file, and then run it from your computer.

Click the link to download the
ZIP file under #2 above. B.
At the resulting prompt, click
Save. C.
After the file downloads,
you’ll see a dialog like this:

Usually Windows will open the
.zip file in a special folder window. F.
